बेजबाबदार ईलेक्ट्राँनिक्स माध्यम तोडताहेत अकलेचे तारे
मुंबई - मराठी माणुस, भुमिपुत्र या मुद्यांवर सध्या जे काही चालंतेय त्यात राजकारण नाही. असं छातीठोकपणे कुणी सांगु शकणार नाही. ज्यांच त्यांचं राजकारण ज्याला ज्याला त्याला सखलाभ असो. सामान्य मुंबईकर, मराठी माणुस न भडकता डोकं शांत ठेवुन आहे. त्याबद्दल त्याचं, त्याच्या सहनशिलतेचं कौतुक करायला हवं समुद्राच्या खारट पाण्याशेजारी राहणारा मुंबईकर सडक्या डोक्याचा आहे. असं त्याचं कौतुक होवुनही तो शांत बसतो, याला दादच द्यायला हवी. बेजबाबदारपणे अकलेचे तारे तोडणाय्रा आणि टिआरपी च्या नादात ताळतंत्र सोडलेल्या वृत्तवाहिन्यांना हा मुंबईकर जनतेचा अपमान वाटत नाही काय? तसेच तर त्यांना पत्रकारितेतील मुलतत्वे, मुलभुत शिक्षण नक्कीच नव्याने देण्याची गरज आहे. बातमी ही पवित्र असते, टिप्पणीपासुन मुक्त असते. हे जे काही पत्रकारितेच्या शिक्षणात शिकविले जाते, तेच ही मंडळी विसरली आहे एखाद्या राजकीय पक्षाचे कार्यकर्ते असल्यासारखी हिंदी वृत्तवारहिन्यांच्या सुत्रधारांची आहे. मराठी - बिगर मराठी असा वाद पेटवितांना ते कमालीचे उत्तेजीत होतात. त्यांची जन्मभुमी कुठलीही असो मात्र, कर्मभुमी मुंबईत स्टुडीऒ असुनही ते मुंबईकर झालेत असे त्यांच्या भुमिकेवरून वाटत नाही. त्यांनी नक्कीच शत्रुघ्न सिन्हाकडुन कर्मभुमीच्या बांधिलकीचे धडे घ्यायला हवेत सारे हिंदी भाषीक वृत्तनिवेदक, संकुचीत, भाषीक राजकारण करू पाहत आहेत. अशा उथळ आणि थिल्लर वृत्तवाहिन्यांवर काही काळ बंदी लादण्याची आवश्यकता निर्माण झाली आहे. मुळचे मराठी असलेले मात्र सध्या हिंदी वृत्तवाहिन्यांमध्ये वार्ताहर म्हणुन काम करीत असलेल्या मुलांची केविलवाणी अवस्था झाली आहे. बाँसचा आदेश मानण्याच्या नादात आणि त्यांना खुष करण्यासाठी वस्तुस्थितीशी विसंगत, अवास्तव आणि मातृभुमिशी प्रतारणा करणारे वार्तांकन आपण करीत आहोत, याचे भानही त्या बिचाय्रांना नाही. शत्रुघ्न सिन्हाला मुंबईने मोठे केले. नावारूपाला आणले. त्याने कर्मभुमिला नतमस्तक होवुन तिचे ॠण शब्दात व्यक्त केले तर त्यात कुणाच्याही पोटशुळ उठण्याचे कारण काय? महाराष्ट्रात राहुन तो जय महाराष्ट्र म्हणत असेल तर चुकले कुठे? ३०० नोकय्रांपैकी २७५ बाहेरचे भरल्या जात असतील तर तो भुमिपुत्रांवर अन्याय आहे. हे त्याचे मत याग्यच आहे. कुणी ते नाकारणार आहे काय? शत्रुघ्नला व्यक्तीगत शिवसेना प्रमुखांबद्दल आदर असेल तर त्याला बिहारद्रोही कसे ठरविणार? कुणाही मराठी माणसाला कुणाबद्दलही व्यक्तीगत आदर आणि प्रेमाच्या भावना असु शकत नाही काय? शत्रुघ्नने फक्त कर्मभुमिचे गुणगाण केलेय, जन्मभुमिबद्दल एक अवाक्षरही बोलला नाही, तरिही त्याला चुकीचे ठरविले जातेय! बिहारची परिस्थीती इराक पेक्षाही गंभीर आहे. आणि मुंबई यापुढे अधिक लोंढे सहन करू शकणार नाही, या दोन्हीही बाबी सत्य आहेत. माध्यमांमध्ये सत्य सांगण्याची हिंमत नसेल तर गोबेल्स तंत्राने असत्याचा मारा रेटुन सर्वसामान्यांना निदान संभ्रमित तरी करु नका. मला आश्चर्य वाटते ते शिवसेनेचे! शिवसेना प्रमुखांना वेड्यांच्या ईस्पितळ्यात दाखल करा, असे अकलेचे तारे बिहारी खासदारांनी तोडल्यानंतरही शिवसैनिक शांत राहिला. त्याच्या संयमाचे कौतुकचं करायला हवे. मात्र अबु आझमी आणि वात्रट बिहारी खासदारांना आवळण्याची वेळ आता आली आहे. आणखी एक महत्वाची बाब म्हणजे हा सारा वाद पेटविलाय तो म.न.सेचे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे यांनी त्यांचे वैर उध्दव ठाकरेंशी आहे , शिवसेनाप्रमुख त्यांना देवासमान आहेत. असे म्हणतात. मग देवावर चिखलफेक होत असतांना ते गप्प कसे? त्यांच्यावर तर आता भाषण बंदीही नाही. निदान बाळासाहेबांना वाट्टेल ते बोलणाय्रा माथेफिरू बिहारी नेत्यांचा निशेध तर ते नक्कीच करू शकतात ना ! शेवटी जाता जाता कर्मभुमी मुंबईबद्दलच्या आपल्या कृतज्ञतेच्या भावना बिनधास्तपणे व्यक्त करणाय्रा शत्रुघ्नचे अभिनंदन! कृतघ्न मराठी वार्ताहरांनी त्यांच्यापासुन बांध घेतला तरी पुरे!

Rahul Gandhi wants changes in loan waiver schemeCongress MP and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi suggested in Parliament on Thursday that there should not be one landholding ceiling to choose farmers whose loans the government proposes to waive, nor should there be a single cut-off date for the loan waiver scheme.
Rahul's speech in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, which touched upon the salient features of the budget and included a number of suggestions, was heard with rapt attention.
Stating that the land ceiling fixed at two hectares in the budget for the loan waiver for poor farmers should be changed, he said: "Land ceiling should be variable on the basis of land productivity".
Rahul also suggested that the cut-off date of June 30 for all farm loan waivers was unfair. "A single cut-off date will unfairly penalise the farmers. A localised cut-off date should be considered," he said, inviting a round of applause.
"There are two distinct voices in India today. One of the voices is easier heard... There is another voice. It is a deeper voice. It is not as loud... These people are no different from those doing well. They ask only to be given a voice," Rahul said, referring to those who have the potential but did not get the opportunity.
"Our policy is not to choose (between the two worlds) but to nurture them together," he said.
The young MP also mentioned the achievements made through the Right to Information Act, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), Bharat Nirman, Mid-Day Meal scheme and other government schemes for the people.
On NREGS, he said: "Freedom to work is not a charity but a right".
He also lauded the budget allocations for education and health. Complimenting the prime minister and the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for a budget for "aam aadmi" (common man), he praised the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission, steps for strengthening Panchayati Raj (local self government) institutions and other schemes

earlier when Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on 29th feb. announced an agriculture loan waiver in the 2008-09 budget but a farmers' leader here said the move will not help most farmers in the Vidarbha region due to the two-hectare landholding cap. The region has witnessed the maximum number of suicides by debt-ridden farmers in the last few years.
"Close to 60 percent farmers in Vidarbha have a landholding of more than two hectares and most of them are in distress on the Maharashtra government's own admission", said Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti leader Kishor Tiwari.
He said all such farmers in the region, which has witnessed a large number of suicides by debt-ridden farmers, would be deprived of the benefit.
"I welcome the largely anticipated budgetary provision nevertheless in as much as a 'head' has been created but cannot help saying that even as a relief it is inadequate for the farmers in Vidarbha," Tiwari told..
Pointing out the absence of provisions for increasing farmers' income, price stabilization and incentives for low-cost farming that would have signalled a beginning of the quest for a durable solution to the agrarian crisis, Tiwari also deplored Chidambaram's silence over food security and rural health.
The annual budget presented by Chidambaram has a farm loan waiver provision of Rs.600 billion intended to extend the benefit to 40 million farmers across the country. The one-time settlement would cover marginal and small farmers whose loans were rescheduled last year.
kishor Tiwari's also demanded that a loan waiver up to Rs 50,000 rather than up to two-hectare land holding would have been more appropriate.
"The two-hectare cap would mostly benefit the sugarcane and grape cultivators in western and southern Maharashtra who have smaller land holdings but large-income-yielding agriculture because of the irrigation facility available there," tiwari added.
